Owl Halloween Treats a la Natalie

I haven't had time to take photos and edit them, so I'm sharing some super cute owl treat bags that my friend Natalie made.  The owl head is made with the Top Note die.  Isn't it adorable?!?!  I believe the colors are Early Espresso, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron and Basic Black.  It would be really fun to make the noses out of the Pennant Punch.  The other punches are most likely the scallop punch, 1 3/8", 3/4" and 1" Circle punches.

CAS Christmas and Sharpies

Christmas Lodge stamp set; Pool Party, Always Artichoke, and Real Red Classic Ink; Basic Pearls colored with Sharpies; 1/8" Real Red Taffeta and Mini Glue Dots
If you're looking for an easy idea to use for your Christmas cards, here's one.  This looks great with or without the colored pearls.  The background is an inked up acrylic block.  Yup, the blocks that you adhere your clear stamps to!  Makes for a quick background and each one turns out slightly different.  Oh, and I sooooo am enjoying the vintage look of this stamp set!  Definitely a keeper Christmas stamp set.  Here's a link if you'd like to look at it online.

I'm really loving this stamp set.  I'm using it for one of the Christmas Card Crank cards in Not Quite Navy and White.  It's wonderful!

Well, I hope you enjoyed my CAS of the week post.  I'll try to keep posting, but we're a bit busy right now.  My son's high school soccer team is going into the playoffs for state, so it's crazy busy from here.  I hope they make it to the state tournament like last year!

Nate's Yoshi Card

Retired SAB DP, Slit Punch, Small & Wide Oval Punches, Word Window Punch, Boho Blossom Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Circle Punch, Build a Blossom Punch, Black Marker, White Gel Pen, sponges
I've had this one for awhile and forgot to show you!  My son's birthday was in August.  He loves all things related to Mario and Sonic video games, so I used this card for inspiration and the figured out which punches I had that would work.  The DP behind Yoshi is from SAB a couple of years back.  I used the Build a Blossom Punch to make the word bubble.  And although it's hard to see, the sponging around the pieces of his body really add to the card.  Ok.  What can YOU do with your punches?  ;-D  No fair using them on your family.  You have to use them for a project.

Until later, (and hopefully not too much later!) thanks for stopping by the Stamping Station.

Stockings and More Glimmer Paper

Gift Givers and Perfect Punches stamp sets; Real Red, Early Espesso, Crumb Cake, and Whisper White cardstock; Frostwood Lodge DSP; Red and Silver Glimmer Paper; Stocking, 1 1/4" Circle, and 1 3/8" Circle punches; StazOn Jet Black, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, and Real Red ink; Stripes Embossing Folder.
This is the first chance that I was able to play with my new Gift Givers stamp set.  Isn't that little reindeer adorable?  I really love his cute little face.  And the Red and Silver Glimmer Paper ... totally makes the whole card!  That way I don't have to add any other accessories.  I used my trusty Blender Pen to color in the reindeer and though it's hard to see, the background Crumb Cake has the stripes embossing folder used on it.  I hope my upline (that's who I sent the card to as a swap) likes this.  Oh, and isn't this layout fun?  It's based on the SASC112 sketch challenge.  There aren't any real tricks to this card, except to make sure to use the StazOn Jet Black for the image so that your outline doesn't smear as you color it in with the blender pen.

Glitter and Holidays ... Oooooo La La!

Delightful Dozen stamp set; Lots of Tags Sizzlits; Wide Oval and Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punches; 1 3/8", 1 1/2", and 1" Square Punches; Snow Burst Embossing Folder; Big Shot; Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, and Whisper White cardstocks
So, glitter paper meets the triple punch.  Woo Hoo!  Just snip off the bottom three loops of the flower to get this fabulous bow for your presents.  The presents were made by punching squares out of scrap pieces of Christmas Lodge Designer Paper and matting them with a piece of cardstock 1/8" larger than the square.  The rest is easy peasy!  I love simple and quick cards that look fab because of all the fun tools and supplies.
