My Sparkle Sister Swap

Leaves of a Tree, Gently Falling and Bring on the Cake stamp sets; Paisley Prints DSP, Tangerine Tango, Early Espresso, Whisper White, Spice Cake buttons, Marina Mist 1/8" taffeta, 1 1/4" Circle punch, sponges
This one took awhile, but I still like the way it turned out.  I really love the pop of Burgundy on the leaves.  It does something.  And do you know how thrilled I was that the center of the Spice Cake buttons fit the 1 1/4" Circle punches?  Fabulous!  If you like this look of the sponged background darker on the outside and softer on the inside, make sure you start sponging from the edge and work into the middle before picking up the sponge again and starting from the edge again.  You can always do a bit of dabbing to get the areas that didn't get covered from the sponging.  This fun layout is brought to you courtesy of the Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog on pg 128 and SASC109.  Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks for stopping by the Stamping Station.

Blessings,
Julie
