Sorry it's been so long since I posted. Life happens, you go camping, you get swaps ready for convention, you prepare and give workshops, you get more swaps ready for convention...oh, and did I mention making swaps for convention? :-)
This is the card that my wonderful boys made for my DH for Father's Day. Each boy picked a color and I picked the stars because I wanted to try out the star shape on my Movers & Shapers XL Big Shot Die. The older two punched out the large and small stars while the youngest turned the handle on the Big Shot. After gluing it all together, my 6 yr old Zach wanted to draw gold lines all over the card. I thought it was supposed to make it look like a galaxy, but he said that it was just to make it shiny. ;-D
And this is the card that I made my DH for his birthday last week. I had to throw it together really quick because we were preparing to go camping. I took these leftover cardstock pieces from a workshop project and put this together. I think I actually like this better than the original project, but I felt bad that my DH got a quickie card instead of one that took a lot of time. Oh happens. The colors are Sahara Sand, Close to Cocoa, Mellow Moss, and Very Vanilla. The frame around the cupcake was made with the strings on the balloon.
It's just killing me to not show you what I'm making for swaps! I really wish that I could show them to you now. I'll try to get some scheduled to post while I'm there. Oh, the wait! In the meantime, I need to get more swaps done.
Thanks for stopping by the Stamping Station!
