Grad Money Holders

We have many Graduation Open Houses to go to this year, so I had to come up with something to hold all of that money! I have some enveloped from a friend who worked at a printer and the envies measure 7 3/4" x 3 3/4", the perfect size to hold money. This first card uses the owl from Forest Friends, the leaves from the Bird and Branch punch, and the greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. On the inside, I stamped "Congratulations" and glued two more branches on either side of the word.
This is a feminine version of the money holder. Little Layers Plus (retired), Scribbles Swirls embosslit, some edging and a ribbon and voila! You're done.
For the inside, I used Well Scripted from the Spring Mini Catalog and more of the Swirls Scribbles embosslit. It's a bit hard to see, but there is a flap that is folded up and adhered with Sticky Strip. Before gluing that down, I punched a half oval out of the center of the flap so that the kids could get to their money. I'll post dimensions and score lines in a day or two.

Well, thanks for stopping by the Stamping Station. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Blessings,
Julie

Owl For You

Long time, no post! Sorry about that. Life has been so crazy busy!

This card is one that we made at two workshops this month. I really like it! It's a combo inspiration card from Julie Davison and Georgeann Manning. It just required the 3/4", 1", 1 1/4", and 1 3/8" circle punches and the Extra Large Two Step Bird punch. The owl is from Forest Friends (free with a SAB order) and the greeting is from All Holidays. A bit of paper piercing at the bottom finishes off this very simple card.

Thanks for stopping by the Stamping Station.

Blessings!

Julie
